Is Your Bathroom Distressing You
Is Your Bathroom Distressing You?
When you come home after a stressful day a long soak in the bath is one of the best ways to de-stress. But is your bathroom distressing you instead? Do your taps suffer from limescale? Has your sink seen better days? Is that dripping tap annoying you? It’s time for action.
Take a Good Look
Take the time to really think about the changes that might make a difference to the overall effect of your bathroom. What could you change to get the ambience you want? You won’t be the only one with a window ledge full of toiletries. Have you got room for a cupboard or will that just cramp the space even more? A new colour on the walls, perhaps? Or some new flooring. Or maybe some new accessories?
It’s really bad...
So, the bath is OK, and the loo. But the sink is beyond help and the taps are grim. What about changing the sink and taps? How about one of the modern stone sinks that sit on a cupboard? All the toiletries could be hidden out of site and the new sink will update the whole bathroom. Pop some new taps on the bath and, hey presto! You’d think the whole bathroom had been re-done.
A quick paint job...
And you’d really think it was a new bathroom. Change some accessories like the mirror over the sink. Maybe add some flowers or a bowl of pot pourri to the empty window ledge. Get some new flooring that is more up-to-date. Of course, a must have for ambience in your bathroom are some scented candles. And, don’t forget the fluffy towels.
You don’t have to rip out the whole bathroom – just change the sink and taps. Turn a major overhaul into a weekend job and save some money in the process.
