We understand that receiving fragile and valuable goods after an online order can be worrying and expensive, through years of experience, all our products will be despatched, well packed and protected to hopefully get to you in perfect condition, on the expected day.
All products purchased on www.clickbasin.co.uk will be delivered FREE OF CHARGE to addresses in Mainland UK. Certain areas are liable to a surcharge- please see the relevant sections below for these charges.
This is the amount of time it takes us to parcel up and send your order. In most instances, products will be packaged and shipped within 48 hours of the order being placed (in small item cases, most orders are shipped next day). This allows us to check all the order details including delivery address and contact numbers, correct and update if necessary, pack the product securely and then raise the collection with the courier.
Types of Delivery
As items vary in size we use three types of delivery methods: Royal Mail, Courier, or Single Person delivery service
Royal Mail First Class Standard (Under 2kg - Wastes, bottle traps)
It is our experience that Royal Mail deliver an excellent service, 99% of our items arrive next day. Some of our items are too large for your letterbox - if you're not in when the postman calls your item will be returned to the sorting office – unfortunately, not all postmen leave cards! We are happy to resend any lost item (usually after 7 working days) but we ask that you contact your local sorting office first to check it's not been left there - 95% of our missing parcels are left in sorting offices!
FREE DELIVERY SERVICE ( Used for delivery of Basins, Basin + Tap + Waste Sets, Mirrors and Taps )
For the majority of the items we sell, we use various parcel carriers - which will give the best service to each individual order. We choose between Fedex, Parcelforce and Yodel, and we will advise which one we have used and the relevant tracking details when order has been despatched
Smaller products under 30kg will be delivered by FEDEX / Parcelforce / Yodel and will require a signature, if there is no one to accept the delivery, the courier will re-attempt the delivery the next day, if this isn't successful then a card will be left and the item will be taken to your local depot or Post Office for collection.
Goods are Insured for your protection. Standard service is 48 - 72 hour delivery timescale (this is the time taken from being collected from us to delivery to customers' door, and excludes weekends). Normal delivery hours are Monday to Friday anytime between 8am to 8pm excluding Bank Holidays. Clarification of despatch and delivery timings will be shown during the checkout process when placing your order.
NEXT WORKING DAY SERVICE ( Used for delivery of Basins, Basin + Tap + Waste Sets, Mirrors and Taps )
There is an option to pay a little extra and upgrade to NEXT WORKING DAY delivery service. The service we use is a DPD Premium delivery service. This allows real time tracking of your order and a one hour delivery window, which will be given on the day of delivery. This allows the freedom of not needing to stay at the address all day waiting for the delivery of the order. Normal delivery hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm excluding Bank Holidays. Clarification of despatch and delivery timings will be shown during the checkout process when placing your order.
Unfortunately, due to surcharges levied against us by FEDEX / Parcelforce / Yodel / DPD there are certain postcodes and postal areas that will require an extra payment to cover this. This will be shown during the checkout process and added to the order value prior to paying . The amount we get charged is the amount we request, nothing more, nothing less. These surcharges are shown in the relevant sections below.
The following postcodes will incur a £7.40 Surcharge for the 48 hour - 72 hour delivery service:
IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE, PO ( Isle of Wight only ), AB1-AB56
The following postcodes will incur a £11.00 Surcharge for the 48 hour - 72 hour delivery timescale:
Northern Ireland, I.O.M, BT, IM, TR21-25, GY, JE
Deliveries to Eire will incur a £15 surcharge and can take up to 5 days to arrive
There will also be differing surcharges and delivery timescales using the DPD premium NEXT WORKING DAY delivery option. This will be show during the checkout process and will be postcode specific. The relevant amount will then be added to the order prior to payment.
Single Person Pallet Delivery - Free Delivery Service (This is the service used for delivery of Oak Bathroom Cabinets)
This service is for all large items or bulk orders for example Oak Bathroom cabinet sets.
The delivery timescales and process are as follows:
- Goods ordered by customer.
- The next working day following the order being received by Clickbasin, contact will be made with the customer by e mail / telephone and a customer suitable delivery day will be agreed.
- E mail confirmation and delivery instructions will be emailed to the customer.
- All goods on the order will be packaged and despatched from our warehouse to our delivery partner 2 working days prior to the agreed delivery day and will be delivered to customer on the agreed delivery date.
- On the day of delivery, the delivery will be made between the hours 9am and 6pm. If required, a telephone call can be arranged 1 hour prior to delivery to allow a greater freedom on delivery day.
Depending on how quickly customer contact is made and suitable day agreed, the delivery can be delivered Free of Charge within 72 hours. If the delivery is required quicker than this, we would recommend using the 24 Hour Delivery service option shown at the checkout.
When your item is delivered there must be someone present at the address who can accept the delivery. If you are unable, for whatever reason, to take delivery of your goods on the confirmed delivery date arranged, you must inform the carriers at least two working days in advance so that another date can be booked. If, through no fault of their own, our carriers cannot gain access on the date agreed, a re-delivery or cancellation fee of £55 per order will be charged.
The service we use for the FREE DELIVERY service for our Oak Bathroom Cabinets is to deliver the order strapped securely to a wooden pallet. This pallet is normally delivered on a 7.5 tonne vehicle with a tail lift operation. The delivery is classed as ' Kerbside' and due to insurance liabilities will only be delivered to nearest point of entry to your property ( not inside ). Please bear in mind that the order contains heavy items and in most cases will require two people to put the delivery in your room of choice, unpack and check the goods
Unfortunately, due to transport costs we incur, The following postcodes are subject to a delivery surcharge - this is a true cost to us - we don't make any money from our delivery costs, and may also add a further period to the delivery timescale. Please call us to confirm if required.

When you place the order through the site, the relevant surcharge will be highlighted at the checkout stage.
If you require next day, Saturday delivery or quicker than seven days delivery, please call us on 01772 671354 and we can arrange this. Likewise if you have work to be done and want us to store the goods for you for a period of time, again, please call.

Receiving and Signing for Your Goods
Parcel Carrier and Royal Mail delivered goods:
Please inspect goods on arrival, look for obvious damages and report to driver. If the goods are not in a satisfactory condition mark the paperwork as damaged and do not accept the delivery please report this to us ASAP by email to firstname.lastname@example.org . An email to advise refusal of delivery MUST be sent to email@example.com within 24 hours of the refusal. This allows us time to investigate and, if valid, raise a claim against the courier for the damage. This, in turn then allows us to immediately resend the damaged item.
If the item is received, and no notification that the item is damaged is made within 24 hours, we will be of the understanding that if the item is accepted with a signature of proof of delivery, this is an acceptance that the item (s) are in perfect order and fit for their purpose of use and we will be unable to rectify, replace or refund for the damaged item.
For Oak Cabinet Deliveries
If there are any signs of damage you must mark the delivery notes as "damaged". Do not return these goods with the carriers at this stage, please inform us of this by email to firstname.lastname@example.org and call us on 01772 671354 immediately and we will rectify the problems as soon as possible (This is essential as if this is not done it could affect your chances of a replacement since the delivery company will not entertain our claims for compensation if the delivery notes are not marked as "damaged").
If the item is received, and no notification that the item is damaged is made on the delivery notes at time of delivery, we will be unable to rectify, replace or refund for the damaged item. We will be of the understanding that if the item is accepted with a signature of proof of delivery, this is an acceptance that the item (s) are in perfect order and fit for their purpose of use. Should you, for whatever reason, be unable to check the items at the time of delivery you must always sign as “damaged”. Please note we will require proof of the damage from a photograph in order to facilitate allowance, exchange or refund of the item.
If you do wish to return an Oak Cabinet Order to us if it is not suitable / as required, we can arrange the collection of the order. We will advise a collection cost prior to arranging the collection. Due to the size and nature of these products, this amount will be £65 + 10% of the order total for restocking. Full details of what happens at time of collection will also be discussed and confirmed by e mail
For all orders - any changes made to the content of your order will have an impact on your delivery date. We may therefore be unable to deliver your goods on your confirmed delivery date should changes occur and if so, a new delivery date will be given. Any subsequent charges by the courier will be claimed back from the customer.
Due to the charges we incur when goods are despatched from our warehouse, if after receiving your e mail from www.clickbasin.co.uk advising that the goods have been despatched, any cancellation or change to the order will incur the following charges if the goods need to be returned back to us:
Royal Mail Delivery - £5
Parcel Carrier Delivery - £6.50
SIngle Person Delivery - £65
You are responsible for providing a safe means of access from the public highway to the place of delivery. If our delivery staff consider that access is unsafe then we will not deliver the goods until safe access is provided. Any subsequent charges by the courier will be claimed back from the customer.
If our carriers accidentally damage goods in the course of delivery our liability for that damage is limited to the repair, replacement or refund of the goods or the value thereof.
Time of delivery is not of the essence in these terms and conditions. We will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable delay or delay due to unforeseen circumstances outside of the reasonable control of clickbasin.co.uk or any reasonable rescheduling of delivery.
