We understand that receiving fragile and valuable goods after an online order can be worrying and expensive, through years of experience, all our products will be despatched, well packed and protected to hopefully get to you in perfect condition, on the expected day.
All products purchased on www.clickbasin.co.uk will be delivered FREE OF CHARGE to addresses in Mainland UK. Certain areas are liable to a surcharge- please see the relevant sections below for these charges.
Despatch Timescales
This is the amount of time it takes us to parcel up and send your order. In most instances, products will be packaged and shipped within 48 hours of the order being placed (in small item cases, most orders are shipped next day). This allows us to check all the order details including delivery address and contact numbers, correct and update if necessary, pack the product securely and then raise the collection with the courier.
Types of Delivery
As items very in size we use three types of delivery means, Royal Mail, Courier or our Premium TWO PERSON delivery service.
Royal Mail First Class Standard (Under 2kg - Wastes, bottle traps)
It is our experience that Royal Mail deliver an excellent service, 99% of our items arrive next day. Some of our items are too large for your letterbox - if you're not in when the postman calls your item will be returned to the sorting office – unfortunately, not all postmen leave cards! We are happy to resend any lost item (usually after 7 working days) but we ask that you contact your local sorting office first to check it's not been left there - 95% of our missing parcels are left in sorting offices!
PARCELFORCE / YODEL 24/48 Service (This is the service used for delivery of Basins, Basin + Tap + Waste Sets, Mirrors and Taps)
Insured for your protection. Standard service is 48 hour delivery service (this is the time taken from being collected from us to delivery to customers' door, and excludes weekends). There is an option to pay a little extra and upgrade to 24 hour service...PLEASE NOTE - THIS 24 HOUR SERVICE DOES NOT MEAN THE ITEM WILL BE DELIVERED WITHIN 24 HOURS, IT MEANS THE GOODS WILL BE DESPATCHED USING A 24 HOUR DELIVERY SERVICE - AND DESPATCH TIME WILL NEED TO BE TAKEN IN TO ACCOUNT. EG, In most cases we will despatch day following order, so, if this is on a 24 hour delivery service and ordered on Monday, we will despatch on Tuesday, and the goods will arrive on Wednesday. Likewise, using the Free delivery, the goods would be ordered on Monday, despatched on Tuesday, and delivered on Thursday. Please bear this in mind when ordering and paying for the 24 hour service.
Smaller products under 30kg will be delivered by Parcelforce / Yodel and will require a signature, if there is no one to accept the delivery, The courier will re-attempt the delivery the next day, if this isn't successful then a card will be left and the item will be taken to your local depot or Post Office for collection.
FREE DELIVERY PARCELFORCE / YODEL DETAILS
The FREE DELIVERY service offered is a 48 hour delivery service (This is 48 hour from dispatch time). If you do require a 24 hour service - bearing in mind the timescale set out above, there is an option to upgrade at point of checkout. The relevant price will be shown to allow the upgrade.
Please note; none of these services deliver on a weekend or Bank Holiday.
Unfortunately, due to surcharges levied against us by YODEL there are certain postcodes and postal areas that we will need to pass this charge on at the time of sale. The amount we get charged is the amount we request, nothing more, nothing less. These surcharges are shown in the relevant sections below.
The following postcodes will incur a £7.40 Surcharge for 48 hour service:
IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE
The following postcodes will incur a £11.00 Surcharge for 48 hour service:
Northern Ireland, I.O.M, BT, IM, TR21-25
Unfortunately, we can not deliver small parcels i.e. basins to the Channel Isles (Inc Jersey and Guernsey ), Scilly Isles or Eire
Two Person Premium Free Delivery Service (This is the service used for delivery of Oak Bathroom Cabinets)
This is for all large items or bulk orders that require a pallet delivery - for example Oak Bathroom cabinet sets. Please note that the times of delivery are Monday – Friday 9 - 6pm. The delivery timescales and process are as follows:
- All goods on the order will be packaged and despatched from our warehouse to our delivery partner within 2 working days of placing the order and will be delivered to you in most cases - on an agreed date within 7 days of the despatch.
- Upon receipt of the goods, our delivery partner will contact you by telephone to arrange an agreed delivery day. These days are normally between Monday and Friday.
- To help with your planning, 24 - 48 hours before delivery, they will call and confirm a 4 hour delivery slot for the day of delivery.
- On the day of delivery they will call again one hour prior to the delivery being made to advise that the delivery is on its way.
Upon arrival, the delivery will be made to any room of choice within the property at the delivery address. The delivery will be made by competent, Customer Focused employees who are used to handling and delivering the kind of products we sell. Before they leave they will present you with a delivery service feedback form - to allow you to rate the service you have received - and also help us improve if required.
We would ask that prior to delivery, if you forsee any obstructions that may hinder or stop the goods being delivered to the room of choice are removed or notified to us.
If you require next day, Saturday delivery or quicker than seven days delivery, please call us on 01772 671354 and we can arrange this. Likewise if you have work to be done and want us to store the goods for you for a period of time, again, please call.
When your item is delivered there must be someone present at the address who can accept the delivery. If you are unable, for whatever reason, to take delivery of your goods on the confirmed delivery date arranged, you must inform the carriers at least two working days in advance so that another date can be booked. If, through no fault of their own, our carriers cannot gain access on the date agreed, a re-delivery fee of £35 per order will be charged.
We offer what we believe to be the best delivery options in the market place and we offer what we believe to be industry only FREE TWO PERSON DELIVERY SERVICE. The following postcodes are subject to a delivery surcharge - this is a true cost to us - we dont make any money from our delivery costs.

HS, ZE, IM - £35
If you place the order through the site, we will call after placing to take the surcharge payment over the telephone.

For Pallet Delivered Goods - 24 Hour Delivery Service
The service we use for the 24 hour delivery service for our Oak Bathroom Cabinets is ti deliver the order strapped securely to a wooden pallet. This pallet is normaly delivered on a 7.5 tonne vehicle with a tail lift operation. The delivery is classed as ' Kerbside' and due to insurance liabilities will only be delivered to nearest point of entry to your property ( not inside ). The delivery will be made between the hours of 9am and 6pm. Please bear in mind that the order contains heavy items and in most cases will require two people to put the delivery in your room of choice, unpack and check the goods, this will be the requirements on the day of delivery.
If you are unable, for whatever reason, to take delivery of your goods on the confirmed delivery date arranged, you must inform the carriers at least one working day in advance so that another date can be booked. If, through no fault of their own, our carriers cannot gain access on the date agreed, a re-delivery fee of £35 per pallet will be charged.
Receiving and Signing for Your Goods
For Yodel and Royal Mail delivered goods: Please inspect goods on arrival, look for obvious damages and report to driver. If the goods are not in a satisfactory condition mark the paperwork as damaged and do not accept the delivery please report this to us ASAP by email to sales@clickbasin.co.uk . An email to advise refusal of delivery MUST be sent to sales@clickbasin.co.uk within 24 hours of the refusal. This allows us time to investigate and, if valid, raise a claim against the courier for the damage. This, in turn then allows us to immediately resend the damaged item.
If the item is received, and no notification that the item is damaged is made within 24 hours, we will be of the understanding that if the item is accepted with a signature of proof of delivery, this is an acceptance that the item (s) are in perfect order and fit for their purpose of use and we will be unable to rectify, replace or refund for the damaged item.
For Oak Cabinet Deliveries If there are any signs of damage you must mark the delivery notes as "damaged". Do not return these goods with the carriers at this stage, please inform us of this by email to sales@clickbasin.co.uk and call us on 01772 671354 immediately and we will rectify the problems as soon as possible (This is essential as if this is not done it could affect your chances of a replacement since the delivery company will not entertain our claims for compensation if the delivery notes are not marked as "damaged").
If the item is received, and no notification that the item is damaged is made on the delivery notes at time of delivery, we will be unable to rectify, replace or refund for the damaged item. We will be of the understanding that if the item is accepted with a signature of proof of delivery, this is an acceptance that the item (s) are in perfect order and fit for their purpose of use. Should you, for whatever reason, be unable to check the items at the time of delivery you must always sign as “damaged”. Please note we will require proof of the damage from a photograph in order to facilitate allowance, exchange or refund of the item.
For all orders - any changes made to the content of your order will have an impact on your delivery date. We may therefore be unable to deliver your goods on your confirmed delivery date should changes occur and if so, a new delivery date will be given. Any subsequent charges by the courier will be claimed back from the customer.
You are responsible for providing a safe means of access from the public highway to the place of delivery. If our delivery staff consider that access is unsafe then we will not deliver the goods until safe access is provided. Any subsequent charges by the courier will be claimed back from the customer.
If our carriers accidentally damage goods in the course of delivery our liability for that damage is limited to the repair, replacement or refund of the goods or the value thereof.
Time of delivery is not of the essence in these terms and conditions. We will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable delay or delay due to unforeseen circumstances outside of the reasonable control of clickbasin.co.uk or any reasonable rescheduling of delivery.
As a final point, please remember that although we offer Free Delivery we do subsidise your delivery fees on these items, if you wish to return these items we reserve the right to refund less than the original purchase price. This is because we subsidise your original delivery fees which are absorbed in our profit margin, unfortunately we cannot do this for returned items therefore this will be chargeable at the delivery rate we have paid to deliver the items. For example, we deliver all Oak Bathroom cabinets using the TWO PERSON DELIVERY method at a cost of between £35 - £60 ( dependant on postcode location ). This means, if you purchase, have delivered, and decide the item is not suitable, there will be between £70 and £120 applicable if you wish for us to arrange the collection of the item. This covers the original delivery and the return cost
