Suitable for use with ceramic, porcelain, or natural stone floors, this BodenWärme Electric Undertile Heating Cable Kit includes a WiFi thermostat in white. It allows for effortless regulation of the floor temperature without the use of any unsightly radiators.
The cable kits are particularly well-suited for heating small or irregularly shaped spaces, where the heating cable can be easily manipulated around fixed objects to ensure an even distribution of warmth without any uncomfortable hot or cold spots. Additionally, the thin 3.6mm wire can be tiled over with ease, negating the need for levelling compounds and avoiding unnecessary increases in floor height.
First measure the total floor area by multiplying the width by the length. Then subtract fixed furniture with a clearance of less than 50mm above the floor to prevent hot spots. With the total area minus deductions, deduct an additional 10% as this will allow for the spacing between cables and around the perimeter of the room.
