The BodenWärme 200W Electric Undertile Heating Mat is designed for natural stone, porcelain, and ceramic floors, offering efficient, even heating while eliminating hot and cold spots common with radiators. Ideal for high heat-loss areas like conservatories, it heats up faster than lower-wattage mats.
The 3.6mm dual-core wire minimizes floor height increase, while Fluoropolymer insulation with a PVC outer layer ensures durability. The rapid-fit sticky mesh allows for quick, hassle-free installation. In well-insulated rooms, this system can serve as a primary heat source, removing the need for radiators and freeing up wall space. For better energy efficiency, install over 6mm or 10mm insulation boards to reduce heat loss and speed up heating times.
First measure the total floor area by multiplying the width by the length. Then subtract fixed furniture with a clearance of less than 50mm above the floor to prevent hot spots. With the total area minus deductions, deduct an additional 10% as this will allow for the spacing between mats and around the perimeter of the room.
